Everyone is connected. No one escapes the Internet today. Electronic manufacturer have in their catalogues products and projects for our cars, houses, clothes and even our health. With a growing number of captive platforms, standards and security leaks, Free Software becomes a necessity for our own safety. This track about IoT brings together a presentation of what can be done today technicaly, a roud table to discuss the state of the art and what are the directions of ongoing works and you'll be able to experiment Internet of Thing with your smartphone. Don't forget to bring it fully charged !

13:30 - Connecting and Managing Devices: end-to-end IoT solutions with Java and Eclipse IoT

The IoT market is poised to an exponential growth, but there are still lots of barriers that prevent building a real, open, Internet of Things. Over the last years, Eclipse has been growing an ecosystem of open-source projects for IoT that are used in real-world solutions, from smart gateways bridging sensors to the cloud, to device management infrastructures or home automation systems.

Java is a key-enabler for IoT, and this talk will provide you with concrete examples on how to build end-to-end solutions with the Eclipse IoT Java stack and projects like Paho, Kura, Mosquitto, Smart Home, OM2M, Eclipse SCADA, Concierge…

Les constructeurs électroniques ont dans leurs catalogues produits et projets pour nos voitures, nos vêtements, nos maisons et même notre santé. Avec la multiplication de plates-formes captives, de standards et de faille de sécurité, le logiciel libre devient une nécessité pour notre sécurité. La table ronde IoT et OpenSource permettra de faire un état de l'art des projets existants mais aussi de voir comment au quotidien industriels et communautés articulent leurs travaux.

Atelier IoT en temps réel ou les participants pourront utiliser leurs smartphones pour accéder à des informations sur des plates-formes via des, applis, API et des pages web. Ils pourront se connecter sur des éléments de trafic aérien et maritime en temps réel (à distance) ou, en local sur des équipements Open LTE / Open 4G ou encore une station météo qui seront dans la salle.
